Dell’s XPS series has long been the companies game machines but after Alienware was bought up in 2006, there have been several of “cloned” products on the market. According to a new report the XPS series have taken a lot of customer from Alienware. Dell has however now decided to stop the sale of the XPS series and rather have Alienware rule the gaming market alone. Alienware focus mostly on high-end gaming machines which can play the most demanding 3D games today. A typical machine from Alienware will cost you $3000 or more but if you add a SLI function you must pay at least $5000. Do you think these machines are worth it? In my opinion i believe it is better to build the computers yourself.

Soon we will be able to see Radeon HD 3830 on the market. This is a budget card that will start on 99 American dollars. In May a much more powerful card will be available in May, which is the Radeon HD 3850 X2. The price on this card will be on 300-400 dollars, and it will have even better performance than the new Geforce 8800 GTS. AMD expects great success on the graphic card market with the new RV670-chipset. Let’s see if ATI is able to take over the graphic card market again with their low priced high-end cards. After a few hard years Abit is back with new main boards with the Abit logo and now they are also coming with graphic cards. The company have not made any graphic cards for years, but they used to produce both ATI and Nvidia based cards. The company will now start developing Nvidia cards so let’s see if Abit can get back into the graphic card market again. The market for Nvidia cards is however very strong already with established producers like Asus, XFX and MSI. Abit has to make themselves unique somehow. The company does however have a good name and they are known for great main boards.

In a158 pages PDF file which contains intern communication (e-mails) shows a statistic over which drivers from different companies that has the most crashes in Windows Vista. The document was released by Nvidia after they was forced to make it official after the American government claimed that Nvidia tricks their customers. According to the numbers in the report you can clearly see that Nvidia causes most crashes in Windows Vista with 28,8 percent. While Microsoft’s own drivers are only responsible for 17,9 percent of these crashes. The numbers are taken from 2007 and the report does not tell us what drivers they are talking about. The numbers does however tells us that Nvidia got a driver problem. The real question is “Has Nvidia finally become more unstable than AMD/ATI?”

Adobe (NSDQ: ADBE) announced Thursday the start of public beta testing for its free online service Express Adobe Photoshop editing photos and the community.

Some of the editing options included in Adobe Photoshop Express include: & Crop Rotation, Auto Correct, exposure, removal of the red-eye effect, Touchup, saturation, white balance, highlighted, Lighting, Sharpen, Soft Focus, Hue , Black & White, Hue, Sketch, and distortion. Adobe entry in this space is likely to be felt by other publishing photos online as Picnik, Phixr and Splashup, to name but a few.

Although Adobe has at least half a dozen competing online service photo editing, there are great chances to benefit from branding and fortuitous timing: There are worries at the moment among the Yahoo (NSDQ: YHOO) ’s Flickr, one of the leading communities sharing photos online, on the staff of the probable future after its acquisition by Microsoft (NSDQ: MSFT). Adobe Photoshop Express is not likely to be useful to its business customers Photoshop CS3. The service offers up to 2 GB of online storage, and only one or two images of many photographers seriously. Adobe Photoshop Express downloads also limits to 10 megabytes and 4000 pixels in height and width.

The professional photographers often use hundreds of gigabytes of storage and tend to rely on a third party Photoshop plug-ins that are not available via Adobe Photoshop Express.

But Adobe is clearly for photo enthusiasts, at least at this stage. In addition to its range of image adjustment and filtering tools, Adobe Photoshop Express focuses on the sharing of photos and galleries online. It includes links to social networks and sites for sharing photos Facebook, Photobucket, and Picasa, Adobe if the aim is clearly to bring more people into Adobe Photoshop Express.

Adobe Photoshop Express requires Vista or Windows XP, or Mac OS 10.4 +, a minimum screen resolution of 1024×768, 512 MB RAM, Internet Explorer 6 or 7 (Windows), Safari 3.0.4 + (Mac), or Firefox 2 + (Mac or Windows) and Adobe Flash 9.

At some point, Adobe Photoshop Express should be available as a desktop application, like Apple’s iPhoto, once Adobe moves offline to the development of a client using its technology AIR.
