Extreme Widescreen From LG

LG Electronics has launched Long Stretch Display, this is a LCD screen with the format 16:5. 16:5 is a unfamiliar format so far and very extreme ate some points. The screen is mainly to be used for digital commercial for example at airports or other places where it could be handy with such a long screen. As far as i can see this screen is not any useful for private persons, so don’t change your newly bought widscreen yet with this extreme project.
The thought behind this format is that it can be placed on unusual places where the roof is not high, maybe in a small subway. LG Electronics will launch 2 versions of this screen. M2900BT-S is 765 MM wide and 308 MM high. This screen supports a resolution of 1366 x 480 pixels. The bigger model M3800BT-S is 987 MM wide and 329 MM high with a resolution of 1366 x 398 pixels. You will find both of these screens in the store in April. The M2900BT-S will cost around 1150 Euro and M3800BT-S will be on around 1950 Euro.
