ATI recently introduced their new line CATALYST drivers, the first drivers from ATI in 2008. You will find new features in the 8.1 drivers, a new function called MultiView which offers a complete hardware acceleration on several OpenGL graphics adapters. It is fair and equitable sharing of hardware resources with a second and third graphics adapter so that a 3D application has the same performance when running on the second or third monitor that when it is running on the screen principal. Meanwhile ATI fixed a number of bugs including bugfixes under Bioshock, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, FEAR, World In Conflict and Oblivion to name a few. The Corssfire performance will also be greatly increased with the new drivers, so if you are using Crossfire you will be able to enjoy a better frame rate on many of the newest DX10 games. You can download the newest drivers here.
